How the Voting Works

The eliminating process of contestants depends on the audience and judge panel. By donating $1.00 to the Westwood Fund, you will be able to submit your vote via text message from a wireless phone which will be provided by our sponsors. The voting will be on a 25/75 basis with the judges possessing the stronger voting power.

-Each contestant will be judged by a panel of local judges.
-Contestants must be available for all performance dates in their category.
-Winners need to be willing to fulfill the duties of the "Upper Valley Idol" and the "Upper Valley Junior Idol" for a term of one year. Duties include but are not limited to performing at Westwood fundraising events, opening for benefit performers and performing or judging at next year's Upper Valley Idol event.

Audition Information

Come show your stuff at one of the two auditions where you have the chance to make it as a contestant as a Junior Idol or an Upper Valley Idol. Come prepared with a song of your choice to perform. A sound system for CD's will be available. However, there will be NO piano.

Get ready to audition to become the next Upper Valley Idol! Auditions will be held Nov. 8 at the Westwood Theater from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. There will also be auditions Nov. 22 from 1 p.m. - 3 p.m. also at the Westwood Theater. Pick a song, practice a lot, and come ready to perform!
